Pepsico Ireland sought to make a significant impact online with the launch of their new ‘Extra Flamin’ Hot Flavour’ campaign for Doritos, Wotsits, and Walkers MAX. They aimed to tap into the emerging trend of CGI in social media videos to create a buzz in both Ireland and the UK. The challenge was to craft a standout, engaging visual experience that would captivate audiences and drive organic engagement.
Solution
OMD Ireland enlisted Rockshot to bring this ambitious vision to life. We conceptualized a bold idea: a CGI hot air balloon emblazoned with the logos and colors of the Extra Flamin’ Hot range, floating majestically above the River Liffey. To enhance the realism and create a sense of spectacle, we integrated stuntmen and actors, blending the lines between the ‘fake’ and the ‘real’ to deliver a striking stunt element on social media. This dynamic content was disseminated across multiple Irish influencer social channels and in partnership with LAD BIBLE, ensuring wide reach and engagement.
